Marc Lowenstein is the founding Music Director of The Industry, and has been on the music faculty at the Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts for twenty-five years. He has conducted and recorded with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and several new music groups. In addition to experimental opera and Jazz, his musical interests include Ashkenazic and Sephardi Jewish music as well as music influenced by Buddhist writings. He has regular open-house Shabbat dinners, and, after COVID dies down a bit more, you are invited. |
